Beautiful Grounds
Barn themed venue
Lovely gardens for photos nearby
Exclusive private use for Thursday/Friday weddings
If you manage to book for a Saturday/Friday the value for money is very good
Easy to get to for most guests
With in 5-10 minute drive many churches/hotels
Corkage – Provide your drink for a small fee and save money
Disadvantages:
Weddings on a Saturday need to bear in mind there may be public people visiting the grounds as its a national trust park

Price: £7000 for 80 guests, can be cheaper with certain options
Very affordable
Advantages:
Very well priced
Barn-themed but not as much as the other venues
Beautiful surroundings and gardens
Well located with many hotels available nearby but still a quiet nice area
Disadvantages
Venue is next to a golf club so many golfers can be walking by
Small venue, can accommodate 120-140 on paper, but probably around 80-100 is more practical

Advantages:
Another well-priced venue with a great interior for the price, probably the best value for money venue available
Rustic and beautiful
Located within easy reach for guests
5 Minutes from major cities and hotels
Disadvantages
Lacks grounds and greenery for pictures, but has some nice areas for pictures still

Advantages:
Beautiful scenery , set with lovely gardens around
Onsite accommodation
Onsite spa – perfect for bridal party night before
Kept very up-to-date and modern

Beautiful areas for photos
Disadvantages:
Out of the way for guests, located 15 minutes from nearby hotels – but on-site accommodation available for those staying

Advantages
Set with some beautiful scenery near by
On-site accommodation
Good value for money
Has recently had additional conservatory area refurbishment
Disadvantages
On site accommodation has had some bad reviews but may of improved since

Advantages
Set with some beautiful scenery nearby, and some beautiful ruins for amazing photos
Beautiful room for the ceremony
Nearby river and a park on its doorstep for beautiful pictures
Park closes in the evening giving you full use
Disadvantages
No on-site accommodation, but based in York centre so plenty of options
open to the public so may have many onlookers
