🎞️ My Style on the Day

My approach is simple: I aim to capture the story of your day as naturally and honestly as possible.

I blend in with the atmosphere, documenting real moments as they unfold—while also stepping in when needed to provide gentle direction for key parts like group photos or portraits.

🧭 Organised when it counts, relaxed when it matters

You’ll find I’m efficient and clear when timings are tight, and easy going when the schedule allows. I want your day to feel like a wedding—not a photo shoot.

My ethos is all about striking the right balance:

-Making sure we capture everything you’ve asked for
-Keeping the photography running smoothly
-Without it ever taking over your day

Your time with guests is precious, and I want you to enjoy every second—with the reassurance that your memories are being beautifully preserved in the background.

I’m always here to help—not just with photography, but with anything wedding-related. I’ve attended hundreds of weddings and seen what works (and what doesn’t),

(i’m happy to be your go-to wedding helper as much as you need!)

  • Help with timelines

  • Supplier recommendations

  • Or just advice—I’m more than happy to assist.

Have some photo inspiration? Feel free to send it over—I’d love to see what you have in mind.

🎞️ After Booking

Once your booking is confirmed, things may go a little quiet—but rest assured, that’s completely normal. I’m always just a message away, and you’re more than welcome to reach out any time on WhatsApp: (I prefer whatsApp so i can reply to you faster)

I know how important your wedding photos are, and I want you to feel confident every step of the way.

🗓️ The 4–8 Week Countdown

You won’t need to worry about anything photo-related until about 4–8 weeks before your wedding.

At the 4-week point, I’ll send you a detailed questionnaire covering:

  • Final timings

  • Group photo requests

  • Key family information

  • Any special details or moments to include

I purposely wait until closer to the day to send this, as plans often change. The questionnaire helps ensure everything I capture is accurate and relevant—it becomes my go-to reference on the day.

🎯 On the Day – What to Expect

Getting Ready

I usually arrive 2–3 hours before you’re due to leave for your ceremony—plenty of time for prep coverage.

💄 No need to worry if your makeup artist is starting early—I don’t need to capture the full thing. Once you’re nearly ready, we’ll stage what’s needed.

If your partner is getting ready nearby, I’ll aim to cover that too, time permitting.

⏱️ Morning Timing Tip

Ideally, I need you in your dress 45 minutes before you’re due to leave or meet the registrars. This allows time for portraits, first looks, and a moment to relax before things get busy.

📍If you’re getting ready off-site: I’ll need to leave 20 minutes before you do to travel, which means you’ll need to be in your dress 1 hour ahead of your departure.

🎊 After the Ceremony

Here’s the flow that works best:

  1. Guests are led outside for confetti

  2. Followed by a large group photo

  3. Then straight into family group portraits

Doing this right away keeps things efficient and stress-free—no chasing guests later in the day.

👪 Family Photos

You’ll start thinking about this closer to the day. You can keep it simple or go big—it’s entirely up to you.

Typically, immediate family (parents, grandparents, siblings) takes about 10–15 minutes. Extended family or longer lists naturally take more time, but there’s no pressure at this stage.

👰 Couple Portraits

Whether you want just a few relaxed shots or a longer session, I’ll adapt to suit your preferences.

I often include some lighthearted bridal party or groomsmen photos as well. And if the sun puts on a show—expect me to pull you away for 5 minutes to make the most of a golden sunset 🌇

Throughout the day, I focus on capturing candid moments as they naturally unfold, and I may offer to take quick couple portraits of guests too.

🕺 Evening Coverage

I usually stay 1–2 hours after the first dance, often until the buffet is served. This allows me to capture some evening dancing and any additional moments like sparklers or night portraits.

📋 Insurance

Yes, I am fully insured. If your venue requests a copy of my documents(this is common), just let me know who to send them to and I’ll handle it promptly.

💳 Payment Terms

  • Deposit: £125 to secure your date

  • Final balance: Due 4 weeks before the wedding

  • Cash on the day is possible—please check with me in advance

📷 Will I Be Taking Photos Non-Stop?

Not quite. Here’s where I usually take a step back:

  • During the wedding breakfast, I’ll be tucked away in the bar or a quiet space, taking a break.

  • Between the meal and evening reception, there can be a natural lull where guests head to their rooms—during this time, I’ll slow down too unless something’s happening or you need me.

That said, I’m always on hand if you want a few extra photos or if the light is perfect.

If you’re providing a meal, I prefer to eat in a quiet space so I can back up files and recharge. I have no dietary requirements and will eat anything provided.

👨‍🍳 Please note: Food is not expected unless speeches or performances happen during courses—in which case I won’t have a window to step out for food.

🖼️ After the Wedding

The day may be over, but your photos are just beginning.

📩 Next-day previews – I usually send a small selection of preview images within 24 hours.
🖼️ Full gallery – Delivered within 2–4 weeks via your own private online gallery, which you can share with family and friends.

📚 Album Clients

If your package includes a wedding album:

  1. You’ll select your favourite images directly from your gallery

  2. I’ll design a bespoke layout for you to review

  3. Once approved, your album will go to print

Your album will be a lasting, tangible way to relive the day—designed with care and custom to you.

Optional Extras

Second Photographer – £350

Recommended for weddings with 90+ guests, a second shooter can:

  • Capture groom/partner prep in a separate location

  • Focus more on candids and guest arrivals

  • Add 300–400 extra images to your final gallery

This can significantly enhance your coverage and flexibility on the day.
