Elle & Sam’s wedding did not disappoint – an army of bridesmaids and groomsmen, the venue looking incredible, and just an epic day all round. And honestly, who doesn’t love a dog at a wedding? I know I do!
Tissington Hall is such a stunning spot in the Peak District. This Jacobean mansion has been around for over 400 years, and between the gardens, parkland, and beautiful old architecture, it’s a dream to shoot a wedding here.
These rooms are huge! and you are not short on space either , with windows everywhere and natural light seeping through the windows perfect for some bridal portraits in the morning
The lads aren’t forgotten at Tissington Hall either – there’s plenty of space for them to get ready. We grabbed a few shots of the groomsmen before they all disappeared for beers!
Tissington Hall also offers the option for an outdoor ceremony (sadly, the rain had other ideas for us). But honestly, the indoor room is just as stunning.
When it comes to confetti, this venue nails it – a path leading down to the gates with the stunning building behind you. Honestly, what more could you want?
This place is full of character and amazing backdrops. The stunning red ivy made for some gorgeous, colourful shots – and of course, their dog Annie completely stole the show!
At the top of the grounds sits the marquee, where the rest of the day unfolds. It’s spot-on for summer weddings and quickly becomes the hub for the evening party. For this wedding, it was the perfect setting for all the afternoon and evening antics.
As wedding photographers we are always looking for that golden hour and this wedding venue did not disappoint us! we managed to capture some beautiful golden sunset shots!
Then came the first dance – and wow, what a moment! All eyes were on the couple as they absolutely owned the floor, and from there the party went off. The dance floor stayed packed all night!
Kind words from Elle & Sam
