Located in Ripponden between a valley, close enough to Halifax for all the amenities yet hidden away in beautiful countryside that you feel your in the middle of no where.

Yes! All day and all night!
Yes under Calderdale council – be advised that the council won’t take a booking till exactly one year before the date though so its advised you ring up at 9 am exactly One year prior to get the time you want.
Admittedly its not blessed with as much greenery as other venues, but for your photos it has plenty available – a beautiful bandstand, some rustic interior and a small lake opposite, but if photos are a huge concern and you want to get else where then that’s also not a problem. there is always a solution!
Yes & Yes! providing the conffeti is bio-degradable , and sparklers are permitted here too!
Rustic feel, beautiful food, well experienced staff handling many weddings a year, a beautiful ceremony room, great parking, lots of near by accommodations available for guests, beauty spots for photos and a lot is included in the standard package(Even your DJ)
Onsite Hotel
Attached to the venue and a stones throw away enter the Bowers mill apartment block , these rooms are the most blessed for light , its THE perfect getting ready rooms for those morning shots of proseco and makeup
each room stunning making light work of the photography.
With a “secret” shortcut to help you enter the venue you couldn’t be any closer for your big special day!

(Note – the apartment block despite being located very close to the venue is not part of the wedding venue it’s self so if you want to book a room here ensure you do so in advance to ensure you don’t miss out as these rooms are open to anyone to book)
The Ceremony room
Also known as the spinning room, plenty of natural light & a rustic feel
Perfect for all your guests this room can be decorated to your taste by your chosen stylist (or by your selves)
But the room looks already beautiful without it and doesn’t need too much here!
The “outdoorsy bit”
Outside the doors of the venue is the beautiful bandstand and the perfect spot for your own photos, the Confetti shot, the family shots and and a great big group photo.
With a little bridge crossing and some covered space it’s ready for any weather and located quite literally outside the front doors it keeps those feet in check for the dancing later on.
and as a plus at night the bandstand lights up for some amazing night shots too!
The Wedding Breakfast
The venue has enough space to seat over 400 guests but the room divides in to smaller rooms to suit any size, so don’t worry about having a room that looks to vacant if you only have 50-60 guests it works for any size.
And oh my is the food nice! (Probably the best!)
It’s the little things that make the venue great that so many little extras are included.
A PA system for your speeches, a Prosecco wall, a crisp wall (just add the crisps!) and even the Mr & Mrs light up love letters and even your DJ is included too.
Picture space
Aside from the bandstand the venue has many little qwerks and spots for photos in and around the grounds and a little lake to wonder around.
With a perfect mix or urban buildings and greenery it has enough to make the photos look amazing! and on a rainy day with everything on your doorstep you can easily nip out for your photos during a dry spell.
As the venue is located with in a small valley wind is not often a factor here and quite well guarded , but sadly nothing can stop the unpredictably of the British rain getting to you.
