The Biggest Wedding Day Mistakes (And How to Avoid Them) After photographing over 300 weddings, I’ve
Hey, I’m Fabio. Over the last six years I’ve shot 400+ weddings across Yorkshire — relaxed, candid and full of laughter, never stiff posed lineups.
“If your guests are still calling me ‘the camera man’ — and not Fabio — by the end of the day, then I’ve failed.”
Hey!
I’m a Yorkshire wedding photographer who’s been lucky enough to capture over 400 weddings in the last six years. Based in Halifax but travelling all over Yorkshire — Leeds, York, Harrogate, Skipton and beyond — my job is to capture your big day whilst having the best time doing it.
I’m not your typical "professional" guy — I’m there to have a laugh. If you want natural, candid wedding photos that feel just as fun and full of life as your day, I’m your guy.
I come in two parts: super professional, organised and efficient on the details, but fun, full of banter and laid-back on the day itself. Most of my couples tell me they forgot I was even there with a camera — and that’s exactly the point.

I’m all about high energy, good vibes, and bringing the party — my job is to get you and your guests having such a good time that the camera disappears. I’ve shot Yorkshire weddings everywhere from the rustic Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey to Oakwood at Ryther and Alexander Weddings & Events, and the same rule always applies: the best photos come from the moments you didn’t know I was snapping.
Whatever your venue — a rustic barn, a country estate, or a city hotel — the brief from me is always the same: relax, have fun, and let me do the rest.

You Bring Yourselves. I’ll Bring The Energy.

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, I couldn’t recommend Fabio highly enough. From his fantastic communication and organisation to his calm, unobtrusive approach on the day, everything was seamless. He captured every special moment beautifully, made us feel completely at ease, and delivered an incredible gallery that perfectly tells the story of our wedding.
Sinnead & Connor – June 2026
Based in Halifax, but happy to travel — up to two hours’ travel is included as standard, and I regularly shoot across Leeds, York, Harrogate, Skipton, Huddersfield and Wakefield too. If you’re further afield, get in touch — travel fees are small and I love a reason to explore a new corner of Yorkshire.
Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to shoot weddings at some brilliant Yorkshire venues — from the rustic charm of The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey and Oakwood at Ryther, to elegant estates like Saltmarshe Hall and Priory Barn & Cottages in Cawood. I’ve captured barn weddings at Priest’s House, Barden Tower and Manor House in Lindley, city celebrations at Woodlands Hotel in Leeds, countryside weddings at The Coniston Hotel near Skipton and Danby Castle in North Yorkshire, and cosy celebrations at The Fleece Inn in Halifax, Chilli Barn in Otley, The Sun Pavilion in Harrogate and The Venue at Bowers Mill. If your venue isn’t on this list yet, there’s a good chance it will be soon — get in touch and let’s find out.

When Wedding Photographers Have It Covered One of the most common things I see pop up
Everything couples ask before booking — the same real answers from your dedicated FAQ page, so this stays in sync with it automatically.
Video is a different kettle of fish, so I’d rather leave it to a dedicated videographer to take care of.
I have a selected list of videographers I work well with that I can highly recommend, and usually offer a discounted rate when working alongside me.
Upon confirmation of booking, you will receive a contract and an invoice.
After this, things may feel a little quiet but I always tell my couples to keep in touch with me on WhatsApp just to check in and say hello! I love to keep in touch with couples leading up to the wedding to help with anything I can.
I do my best to keep my socials up-to-date so you can keep inspired during the wedding planning process.
Four weeks before the wedding, I will send you a questionnaire to fill out with all the details, family shot list, timings and anything else important. Then we can have a quick catch up call before your wedding to confirm and complete all details.
Aside from the fast turn around of your photos and my natural style of photographs, my fun personality makes it easy for people to enjoy themselves around me. To get the best, most relaxed photos, I want the guests to know me as “Fabio” and not just “the photographer”.
I like to be part of the day and not just an accessory to it, and being 100% approachable just makes it easy for the guests to grab me when they want a photo too.
For the couple shots, I lean away from the stiff awkward posing and instead, let the couples be themselves and just have fun– after all, those photos are always the best. Whilst I may pose you for some, my style is mainly focused on the natural, “you being you” photos.
I like to treat a wedding as exactly what it is… your special day, not just any other day taking photographs, so I give 200% every time.
I like to hang around a little after the first dance as well, just to make sure I capture the busy dancefloor antics before the evening buffet drops!
Absolutely! Much as I’m a Yorkshire man, I do enjoy travelling and discovering wedding venues. Whether that’s across the UK . Travel fees may apply for those weddings that are slightly further afield.
A deposit of £125 secures the date, and the remainder balance is payable four weeks before the big day.
Then I’m definitely the photographer for you!
My ethos is 20% posed, 80% natural. For most of your couples photos, we will just have lots of fun and walk around. You won’t even feel like it’s a photo shoot.
The best photos come from the moments when you didn’t know I was snapping away.
I’ll throw a few posed shots in for good measure, but the majority of my photos are more casual and laidback.
I can usually do the couples photos in 15 minutes, and if we have a golden hour, I’ll persuade you outside for some sunset fun if you’re up for it!
Tell me your wedding date and venue and I’ll confirm straight away if I’m free — popular Yorkshire weekends go fast. Fill in the form and I’ll come back to you within a day or two.
