Hannah & Alex’s big day began at the beautiful Priory Cottages, where both sides got ready in separate rooms (one of the huge perks of this venue!). With so many spacious rooms, there’s no shortage of accommodation for family and friends.
From there, they made their way to St Mary’s Church to officially say “I do,” before heading back to the Priory with all their guests to kick off the celebrations. Despite a bit of rain, we managed to capture some lovely family portraits and stunning couple photos before heading in for the epic confetti throw, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of food!
Just when we thought the weather had closed in for the day, we were treated to five glorious minutes of golden sunlight. I whisked the newlyweds out into the fields for a quick dash—and wow, was it worth it. The glow, the joy, and the energy perfectly summed up their amazing day.

With so many cottages available at the priory barn you are not short of getting ready space, whether you have an army of bridesmaids or just a few!
This unique confetti throw gives you something a little different! Instead of the usual walk-through, your guests gather above and shower you with confetti from above — creating the most amazing photo moment. (Bonus points: they even add your name!)
Yes — this venue welcomes dogs! 🐾 They had seven dogs at this wedding, and even the guests brought along their four-legged loved ones. Total bonus points from me!
With miles of countryside and flat land around sunsets are easier to come by!
How much is a wedding at Priory Barn & Cottages?
You can expect to pay around £10,000–£13,000 for exclusive use of the venue with all the cottages, which you can re-sell to guests. Food is externally catered, and you should budget around £30–£70 per head depending on your menu choices.
How long do we get the venue for?
As standard, you get two nights in the cottages, with checkout usually the day after your wedding. This gives you full run of the venue to decorate and make it your own the day before. It’s also a lovely way to spend extra time with guests who have travelled from afar.

You’ll be spoilt for choice! With nearby fields, charming country roads, and of course the courtyard itself, you won’t be short of stunning backdrops for your wedding photos.
Is this wedding venue pet-friendly?
Absolutely 100%! Dogs are more than welcome. With the cottages on-site, you can always have your dogs nearby and check in on them in the rooms. It really feels like a home-from-home.
