The Tithe Barn in Bolton Abbey is a stunning grade ii listed; A 16th Century historic wedding venue found in the Yorkshire Dales in Skipton. The perfect choice for a north Yorkshire wedding.

I’ve had the pleasure of being a photographer at the Tithe Barn and it forever remains a firm favourite when it comes to Yorkshire wedding venues.

With stunning views overlooking Bolton abbey, a countryside feels, incredible food and a venue that will impressive all your guests there isn’t much to dislike about the tithe barn. Everything about it just screams my perfect wedding.

The exterior stonework and beautiful greenery make for some beautiful photos.

The Grand Barn Ceremony

With seating for over 200 guests, a wide aisle and heaps of natural light seeping through the large glass windows you can be certain the tithe barn will make your wedding photos will look incredible.

The Wedding Breakfast

When it comes to food, tithe barn is the best for it! (And yes i’ve been to many wedding venues so i don’t say this lightly!) Cripps & Co do this well!

The tithe barn come alive at night with it’s incredible sound system, fairy lights backdrop and disco lighting.

And with the tasty food & drink to end the night with bacon sandwiches to woodfired pizzas your evening guests will be well fed

    Prices range from £10,000 to £30,000 depending on the time of year and date. If you are happy to take the venue midweek and out of season, then you are in for a bargain of a wedding for the beauty of this place! Please contact the venue for up-to-date pricing.

  • What is the capacity of the Tithe Barn?
    The venue can hold up to 200 guests comfortably for the ceremony and the reception, and has plenty of indoor space in the event of rain.

  • Is the venue available for exclusive hire?
    Yes, every wedding is kept exclusive, so you will have the venue to yourself.

  • Is accommodation available at Tithe Barn?
    No, but there are many local hotels available to accommodate your guests and yourself for the wedding — including The Devonshire Arms, which is located a stone’s throw away.

  • What is the food like at the Tithe Barn?
    Quite honestly, it’s the best. The Cripps & Co brand, which Tithe Barn falls under, provides some of the best wedding food I’ve had the pleasure of tasting at a venue.
