Tom & Catherine chose this incredible spot to say their “I dos,” and although the weather decided to play games with us — a proper mix of sunshine and showers — it didn’t stop the magic. In fact, the changing skies gave us a mix of dramatic light and soft, romantic tones that worked so well in photos.

Between dodging raindrops and chasing golden light, we made the most of every little corner — from the lush gardens to the moody hallways inside. These two were absolute naturals in front of the camera, and the laughs, love, and happy chaos of the day made it all the more special.

Whirlbrook Hall, tucked away just outside Sheffield, is a total gem of a venue — a real photographer’s playground. From elegant interiors to sweeping countryside views, it’s packed with jaw-dropping backdrops at every turn.

Bridal Prep at Whirlow Brook Hall

Stepping into the bridal prep room, I was immediately spoilt by the amount of natural light(And us wedding photographers love natural light), perfectly lighting up the room. The stunning mirror added an extra touch of elegance, while the room itself was beautifully laid out, providing plenty of space for the bridal party to prepare. Located just upstairs from the venue, it offered the perfect balance of convenience and comfort giving the bridesmaids easy access to set up final touches for the big day. This layout made the entire bridal prep process smooth and stress-free, creating the ideal setup for capturing all the perfect bridal prep shots

Groom Prep for the boys

Whirlow Brook Hall offers plenty of space for all your guests to get ready, including the groom and his party. With multiple rooms to choose from, it made for the perfect setting to capture some fun and relaxed moments of the guys prepping. We were able to grab some great shots of the groom getting ready, making sure no part of the day was missed

The ceremony room might be cozy, but it fits all your guests just right. Walking down the aisle, you’re greeted by natural light streaming through the windows & it’s a photographer’s dream! The light makes every moment pop, giving you beautiful, real wedding photos that really capture the day

Celebrating with Drinks and Confetti

With acres of space at this stunning wedding venue, you’ll never run out of options for your big day. You could easily walk for hours around these beautiful grounds, but with everything you need right on your doorstep, there’s no need to go far.

Formal Photos

With gardens full of vibrant color and lush greenery, this wedding venue truly has it all. We took a quick 60-second walk to a nearby garden and captured an epic, Made in Chelsea-style group photo that looked absolutely awesome—perfect for showcasing the energy and style of the day!”

Portraits and Wedding photos

Whether you want to spend 5 minutes or 5 hours on your wedding photos, Whirlow Brook has endless options to choose from (and yes, I keep mentioning how much there is here because it’s worth shouting about!). As a wedding photographer, I could have easily spent days capturing the beauty of these grounds!

But true to my style, I always keep the couple photos short and sweet—you’ve got a wedding to enjoy, after all!”

After an hour of mingling we then headed back inside for what was to be an epic night of dance floor dancing and a few dips here and there and boy did we get some incredible party shots(See below more photos)
