Ellie Sax at Your Wedding 🎷
It’s no doubt that this job has a few perks—but one of my absolute favourite moments of 2025 was when I got a message from a couple asking if I could stay a little longer because they had booked some “epic entertainment.” Naturally, I thought, oh cool, they’ve got a band lined up.
But nope. Turned out to be none other than Ellie Sax! And wow… I was buzzing for this one.
Ellie Sax, a true Halifax legend, has risen to stardom with her incredible saxophone talent. From selling out The Piece Hall in her hometown to holding weekly residencies at Ibiza Rocks, she’s taken her sound global. Think Maldives, Hong Kong, all across Europe—and she’s even worked alongside Ministry of Sound.
So, to see her light up a wedding dancefloor up close? Unreal. The atmosphere was electric, the crowd was loving it, and I was just as hyped behind the camera.
Safe to say, this was a wedding I’ll never forget.
So, if you’re looking to book Ellie Sax for your wedding, I can honestly say it’ll be an experience you and your guests will never forget (But be warned! Her calendar is pretty booked up! particularly in the summer!)
