What a day for Chloe & Harry at The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey! 🔥

Chloe & Harry met over 10 years ago, and their wedding day at The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey had been a long time coming! There was an extra-special connection to the venue too, as Chloe actually worked at The Tithe Barn when she was younger. Watching couples arrive, celebrate and get married there day after day, she always had a feeling that this was the place she would eventually want to get married herself. Fast forward a few years, and she was finally walking down the aisle there with Harry by her side!

For the bridal prep, we headed to the incredible Olicana Park, just 10 minutes down the road from The Tithe Barn. It was the perfect place to start the day, with plenty of space for the girls to get ready, beautiful surroundings and some seriously stunning views across the Yorkshire landscape. The morning was already full of excitement, laughter and a few emotional moments before everyone made their way over to The Tithe Barn.

From a seriously glamorous bridal squad and bouquet throws to an incredible party atmosphere, this wedding was packed with energy from start to finish. We even got away with just a quick shower of rain before getting straight back to the celebrations!

And this is exactly why The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey is such a brilliant wedding venue to photograph. There is so much character built into the setting, with the beautiful historic barn providing an incredible backdrop for the ceremony and celebrations, while the surrounding Bolton Abbey estate gives you those classic Yorkshire views and plenty of opportunities to sneak outside for photographs. It has that perfect mix of rustic character and elegant wedding-day atmosphere, and it works brilliantly for a couple who want their day to feel relaxed, fun and full of personality.

This was one of those full-on wedding days where there was always something happening. From the morning preparations right through to the dance floor, the pace never slowed down. There were happy tears, huge laughs, big hugs, and some seriously good moves on the dance floor. The atmosphere all day was absolutely electric!

I always love being back at The Tithe Barn, and Chloe & Harry certainly knew how to make the most of it. There is something particularly special about photographing a couple at a venue that already means so much to them, and knowing that Chloe had spent years watching other couples celebrate their weddings here made the day feel even more meaningful.

Surrounded by amazing family and friends, they threw one heck of a celebration at The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey, and it was an absolute pleasure to be there capturing it all. From the quiet moments during the morning preparations to the chaos and fun of the dance floor, this was a wedding with plenty of personality, plenty of emotion and absolutely no shortage of fun.
