The MoorlandsΒ is a charming, family-run restaurant and wedding venue located in Ogden, close to the picturesque Ogden Water. Known for its warm hospitality, the venue specializes in traditional home-cooked meals, featuring popular dishes like their award-winning steak pie and authentic Italian stone-baked pizzas.
Sophie & James both get ready offsite and then landed at the venue(Sophie in true fashion with just minutes to spare!)
With the wind blowing all day it didn’t dampen her spirits though! she was excited to get the day going fast as possble!
Recently, the venue has made a small but impactful changeβceremonies can now take place in a more traditional layout. This subtle adjustment has made everything feel just right, especially for the photos!
When it comes to that throwing the petals moment! I rounded up all the guests and took them outside for the big throw! with the back drop of the bandstand it’s an idealist photo! and off we went straight in to family photos whilst the ran held off
A surprise singing performance for Sophie (donβt askβI had to pop the earplugs in!) turned out to be the perfect lead-in to the Singing Waiters. As soon as they revealed themselves, the wedding breakfast room burst into life with dancing, laughter, and a good old-fashioned party!
After all was said and doneβand about 15 Proseccos deepβI took the girls out for a few photos. Letβs just say it wasnβt my finest hour, as they were well into that stage of being absolutely impossible to control. But oh, we had so much fun!
